Product of Sweden. The cake is coated with a thin layer of green stuff… not sure what it is (asĀ there is no english translationĀ on the cake packaging). It taste a little like kaya (a bread spread makes from coconut and egg). There is also a thin layer of jam spread in between the sponge cake. Something light and refreshing for a afternoon tea. Cost: S$8.90 from ikea, Singapore.

Hi, chanced upon your website while searching for Princess Cake.
It’s a traditional Swedish cake layered with sponge cake, whipped cream, syrup, and jam. The green topping is marzipan, a mixture of ground almonds and icing sugar.
